This notice explains what happens to the information you send through this website. The site belongs to Millikan Law Office, 12180 Old Big Bend Rd, Kirkwood, Missouri 63122. “We” in this notice means the office.
What the site collects
The contact forms ask for your name, email address, phone number and a short message, and note which page you sent it from. That is all they ask for. When you send a form, our website host’s form service delivers it to the office; like most online services, it also records technical details such as your IP address.
Like most websites, our host keeps ordinary server logs, such as the address a request came from and when it was made.
Who reads it
The office’s attorneys and staff read every message so that we can reply. We do not sell what you send us. We do not share it outside the office, except with the services that run this website and our email so that they can deliver it, or where the law requires it.
Sending a message does not make you a client
Contacting the firm does not create an attorney–client relationship. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information through the forms; call the office instead.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses no analytics and no advertising cookies, and it does not follow you to other sites. It keeps one setting in your browser for the length of your visit: whether the ambient lighting around the home-page video is on.
How long we keep it
We keep messages as long as we need them to reply and to keep the office’s records. A law office also keeps a record of who has contacted it, so that it can check for conflicts of interest before taking on a matter.
A copy, or deletion
To ask for a copy of what you sent, or for it to be deleted, email bmillikan@millikanlaw.com or call 314.621.0622. We may need to keep a record of the inquiry itself for the conflict check described above.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
